| The Close Quarter Combatives Group SDMS (Single and Double-handed Grip) Impact Weapon curriculum is also presented in a logical and progressive series of levels. It is designed to teach the responsible student-citizen both defensive and offensive combative applications for impact weapons. |
Emphasis in all levels is on defending oneself from an impact weapon attack. Additionally, the proper employment of an impact weapon for self-defense is taught. Again, the student must learn effective techniques to stop a life-threatening assault. He/she must also learn and demonstrate non-lethal techniques that can end conflict without devastating injury when this options is available. |
